Eichi.me combines experience from its first hosting era with a completely rebuilt platform and a clear focus on transparent web hosting.
Eichi.me was founded in winter 2016 by Christian Eichenberger in Switzerland. The idea was to provide web hosting personally while continuing the game-server and web-hosting sponsorships that were in strong demand at the time.
Over the following years, the game-server market changed significantly: fewer games supported self-hosted servers, while web hosting was increasingly sold through aggressive low-price competition. Eichi.me was therefore deliberately scaled back instead of continuing the original idea at any cost.
Later, family and a new child took priority. The pause was never intended as a permanent end; returning with Eichi.me always remained an option.
After more than six years, Eichi.me is back with new energy. The current platform was rebuilt from the ground up, many processes are automated, and the experience gained in earlier years directly shapes products, support and technical decisions.
Eichi.me is personally run by Christian Eichenberger from Switzerland. Hosting servers are currently located in St. Louis, Missouri, USA on infrastructure supplied by velia.net. Operator, location, prices and contract terms are deliberately disclosed.
